SWEET GEORGIA PEACH LEMONADE SLUSHIES
It's not a proper drive through the lovely state of Georgia without a roadside stop for Georgia peaches, so last week as we drove north on I95, we made our stops at Georgia Peach World (read more about Georgia Peach World here) and stocked up on delicious, ripe, sweet fruit. In the last week, we have made the most of our sweet souvenirs, enjoying everything from simple fruit salads to these delicious Peach Lemonade Slushies.
These slushies are so simple to make and so refreshing. They are the perfect summer treat. To make these:
1. Peel the peaches, cut into chunks, let freeze
2. Make lemonade - use your own recipe or grab a bottle of your favorite grocery aisle. We like Simply Lemonade.
3. Pour part of the lemonade into ice cube trays and freeze.
4. Once the peaches and lemonade cubes are frozen (or close to it), mix one part peaches, one part lemonade ice cubes, and one part liquid lemonade together in the blender.
We used about 2 cups of each part to make 4 servings. These were delicious, refreshing, and supremely simple.
