Bargain Chicks Warehouse Sale in Richmond, Virginia September 18-20
I have been on the Bargain Chicks' email list for quite some time. Every once in a while I will get an email notifying me of a warehouse sale in the area, and each time I have visions of shopping endless aisles of beautiful fabrics in trendy designs at drastically reduced prices. I'm so pleased to say that tonight I finally had that chance! The Bargain Chicks girls hooked me up with an exclusive sneak peek of the warehouse sale the night before it begins. I got to shop completely uninterrupted, take pictures, and pick out my favorite items. I left with my trunk completely full of teacher gifts, Christmas gifts, and several things for myself, including my new fall purse, a crisp blue, green, red, and gold madras bag by Buckhead Betties. I saw it online and was scouting it out as I walked through the door. Before I left this afternoon for the Bargain Chicks Warehouse Sale in RVA, I made a list of some of my favorite products listed on the website. My list is pretty extensive, so here are just a few of my favorite things...
This pink market tote bag, as well as the market tote in numerous other colors and prints, would make wonderful
teacher gifts for Christmas, or if you want to wait until spring, a pretty and useful teacher appreciation or end of year gift. I was planning to do a little early holiday shopping, and I've decided that a splash of bright pink, lime green,
and teal blue don’t have to wait around for spring. Go ahead and buy the
colorful pieces as gifts, because a little splash of color goes a long way on
those dreary January and February days. The color just may be a very welcome
pick me up! This colorful market tote is a quintessential Buckhead Betties bag. I think if you have to have only one bag, this is a safe one to buy. I played it very, very safe, and bought 5: two for teacher gifts, one gift for a friend, one for my daughter, and one in aqua blue for me.
This
madras line is from fall 2013, but the pattern is such a classic, it will never. ever. go out of style. This bag begs me to visit an apple
orchard and fill it with freshly picked apples. How sweet is this red, green,
gold, and navy blue plaid print? It also reminds me of a teacher bag, maybe the
whole apple idea? Regardless, I love this pattern! Bought it.
The whole camo line is perfect for my son Carrington. He is going
to love the duffel bag and the cinch sac! I am thinking Christmas gifts, but
might not be able to hold out that long. He might get it tomorrow. We have been
wanting to get away this fall, and would be perfect as a pre-trip
treat to pack all of his things in! The cinch sac would also work nicely for
gym clothes and for packing up survival gear when heading off into the woods
behind our house with his neighborhood friends. I bought the cinch sacs for both children (my daughter likes camo, too), and I bought Carrington the duffel, the matching toiletry bag, the camo garment bag, and a huge bin for his room. I'll post pics of that tomorrow.

Bargain Chicks have warehouse sales in three cities, so you have three chances to get the great products you love at super low prices.
The Bargain Chicks girls told me tonight that if you love the Richmond sale, then you will really love the Greensboro, NC sale, which evidently is huge! Buckhead Betties is located in Greensboro, and they have enormous warehouse space there. Do one, do both, just make sure you take advantage of this opportunity, if you love bags, purses, totes, aprons, and more. Oh, and in case you're wondering, it's not too early to start checking off your holiday wish list.
