Halifax Earth Day Extravaganza April 26
A few weeks ago I wrote about the Art on the Lawn Event in the Town of Halifax. I introduced you to Rebecca Ramey who plans events through the Halifax Village Association and who is also the Town of Halifax Events Planner. Former and the current events planners put forth a great deal of creativity and effort into bringing quality community events to this little Southern Virginia town. Earth Day 2014 was this Tuesday, April 22, and to celebrate, the Town of Halifax will host The Halifax Earth Day Extravaganza at the Halifax Farmers Market Saturday, April 26, from 10 until 3pm. Let's show Mother Earth how much we care by learning environmentally friendly techniques that even children can understand and implementing them in ways that are practical, enjoyable, and responsible.
